About UFS-2026
A decade of ultrafast science in India
UFS brings together experimentalists and theorists working on phenomena that unfold faster than a molecular vibration.
Ultrafast science lets us watch electrons rearrange, bonds break and lattices distort in real time. Since 2013 the UFS series has grown from a small national meeting into a flagship international conference spanning ten research themes.
The 2026 edition at IISER Bhopal features keynote and plenary lectures, contributed talks, two poster sessions, an industry instrumentation showcase and guided tours of the Central Instrumentation Facility.
